Janjer was started in 2006 as result of contacts with
Jerry Oliver over the years from Owners and Managers of
Care Services who required assistance and advice. Jerry
is an experienced and successful social care and health
professional with a track record of delivering results in
Local authority, Health and the Independent Sector at
Director level. He has also worked at Assistant
Director/Head of Service level in Regulation and
technical/support services such as IT, HR, Training,
Contracting, Finance and Performance Management.
Jerry specialises in-service analysis business, service
planning and service recovery in pressurised often
publicly scrutinised environments in politically uncertain
and changing circumstances.

Frequently providers due to the organisation's size do not
always have the experience or the right expertise to
resolve difficulties or uncertainties in this rapidly changing
area of service provision. For example in Personnel and
Training or complex investigations and complaints.
Equally dealing with Regulators and other officials such
as The Commission for Social Care Inspection or

understanding the shortcuts and information that is most
likely to generate results.

when CSCI Inspectors are making numerous
requirements. Many requirements have been duplicated
in reports showing the service up in an unnecessarily
poor light. In the complex area of Inspection challenging
in the right way judgements when services are deemed
poor or adequate has often led to judgements being
improved.
